Missed call to booked job, step by step.

The six steps from the missed ring to a closed invoice — until a tech is dispatched and the invoice closes. No retainer charging for marketing calls — Holdfast is billed only when a tech is dispatched and the ticket on the calendar closes.

How it works

Six steps. Tuned per shop.

The agent is the first ring. SMS is the safety net. The calendar is where the money lands. We integrate alongside the software you already run — never against it.

  1. Missed call answered in two rings

After-hours, peak load, or overflow — the line never rings out to voicemail. A tuned voice agent picks up before ring three, in plain English, with the shop’s greeting and shop hours. Pretending nothing rang is the bug we got paid to fix.

  2. Intent captured from the caller

Name, address, urgency, service-type. The agent asks the three questions a dispatcher would ask — on the call, in the caller’s words — and refuses to invent a price. Hang-ups are followed up by SMS, not by guesswork.

  3. SMS confirmation sent

A recap, a time window, and the booking link go out in the same thread the caller just replied to. TCPA-clean consent is captured at the first reply; one-tap STOP is honoured server-side, in the same minute, without re-asking on the next call.

  4. Ticket created in their existing software

The confirmed slot writes back into ServiceTitan, Jobber, or Housecall Pro — right next to the techs the contractor already knows. No parallel calendar, no shadow dispatch, no second login to teach the office. The tech sees the recovery like every other ticket.

  5. Tech dispatched

The slot lands on tomorrow’s morning board next to the existing route, with the customer record, notes, and call recording attached. The on-call dispatcher recognises the job as one of their own — not as a lead from some other funnel that needs to be re-entered.

  6. Holdfast billed only on outcome

A small monthly platform retainer plus a per-booked-job bonus aligned to actual ticket value. If the job did not book, we did not bill the bonus — that is the entire point of outcome pricing, and that is the closer the rest of the site points back to.

The same six steps that turn a missed ring into a booked ticket — with Holdfast paid only on the outcome, never on call volume.

The closer is the same on every page of the site: a small platform retainer, a per-booked-job bonus aligned to actual ticket value, and an invoice that only ships when a job actually lands on the tech's calendar.

A 20-minute audit uses ten of your recent inbound calls and your last quarter's ticket values to map the same six steps against your shop — no install, no commitment. Three things and we scope your pilot the same week.

Three things and we scope the pilot the same week

  • 01Ten recent inbound recordings (or a calendar link).
  • 02Last quarter's service-ticket value range.
  • 03Confirmation you run ServiceTitan, Jobber, or Housecall Pro.
